Built from memory. Brought to life by momentum.
Some brands begin with a business plan.
This one began before sunrise.
Long before there was a company, a logo, a Chapter, or a garment, there was a gentle tap on the shoulder before sunrise.
Harry Kenneth Fritz was waking his first-born grandson for another day on the course.
Those mornings became the foundation for everything Parlay Country Club would one day represent.
Golf was never simply a game between them. It was time together. It was patience learned between shots, humility after a difficult hole, laughter that mattered more than the scorecard, and the quiet understanding that the best rounds are rarely remembered for the final number.
Before the clubs were loaded and before the first tee, the tradition began in the kitchen of Harry's home in Pawleys Island, South Carolina.
He made Mickey Mouse-shaped pancakes while the two of them talked about the round ahead. Then came the familiar packing list.
Two bottles of water.
Two packs of crackers.
One bag of Famous Amos, shared throughout the day.
At the time, they were ordinary details. Years later, they became sacred.
Because what they carried onto the course was more important than anything that fit inside the golf bag.
They carried love.
They carried laughter.
They carried a bond that would shape a lifetime.
Harry's lessons reached far beyond golf.
He taught patience without lecturing about it. Humility without demanding it. Integrity through example. And the importance of recognizing the moments that matter while they are still happening.
Parlay Country Club exists to preserve that feeling.
Every Chapter, every piece, and every person who wears Parlay carries a small part of those early mornings.
Forever in memory of Harry Kenneth Fritz.
The heart of Parlay had existed for years.
It simply needed the right connection to become real.
That connection began with Kristin.
Having worked with Chris Sanford as her real estate agent several times, Kristin had developed the kind of trust that cannot be manufactured. She knew how he worked. She knew how seriously he treated the people who placed their confidence in him. And she knew he had an unusual ability to turn ambitious ideas into something tangible.
Without Kristin, the partnership behind Parlay may never have happened.
She became the bridge between a deeply personal vision and the person capable of helping build it.
The first meeting with Chris was supposed to be exploratory.
A conversation about an idea. A chance to organize the vision. Perhaps a rough business direction.
Instead, the idea caught fire.
An exploratory conversation between two strangers.
Notes, sketches, the shape of a club taking form.
A name chosen. A promise recorded. The club begins.
Documents cleared. Website already taking shape.
There are timelines that make sense on paper. This was not one of them.
By Monday morning, the charter had been sealed. The name had been claimed. The foundation of the club was in place. And the website was already taking shape.
This was momentum in its purest form.
The vision came from a lifetime of memories, a love for golf, and the desire to build something worthy of Harry's influence.
Chris brought the strategy, technology, structure, creative systems, and relentless execution required to turn that vision into a living brand.
One carried the reason. The other built the road.
Together, they created Parlay Country Club. Not as another logo placed on golf apparel. Not as an imitation of the clubs that came before it. But as a new expression of golf culture built around memory, identity, style, and belonging.
Parlay exists because the best parts of golf have never been limited to golf.
They are found in the traditions.
Parlay is being built for those moments.
For people who understand that style becomes more powerful when it carries a story.
For those who respect tradition but refuse to be trapped inside it.
For members who did not inherit their place in the room, but built a life that belongs there.
Parlay Country Club is where memory meets momentum.
Where old lessons become new Chapters.
Where what began between a grandfather and grandson continues through every person who joins the Club.
Parlay is members only. There is no public door. Leave your name and we will write when a seat opens in the next Chapter.
The invitation book is temporarily closed while the next Chapter is prepared. When the room is ready and a seat opens, a letter will find its way to the right hands — quietly, without a queue.
Play the long game.
